Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is Mobile EV Charging?
Mobile EV Charging is an on-demand emergency roadside service covering Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Miami Valley. Whether you're stranded roadside, parked at home, stuck at the airport, or at work with a low battery, we deliver a charge that gets you moving again—fast.
2. Do I need to have my own charger or power source?
Not at all. We provide everything—a mobile Level 2 charging system with its own power supply and charging cable. You don’t need any equipment or outlets on hand.
3. What type of charger do you use, and how fast is it?
We use a Level 2 charging system delivering up to 7.2kW of power. This typically provides:
10–15 miles of range in ~15–20 minutes
20–25+ miles of range in ~30–45 minutes
Charging speed depends on your vehicle’s battery size, state of charge, and onboard charging capabilities. Our goal is to provide enough charge to get you safely to the nearest charging station or your home—not a full charge.
4. How long will you stay at the scene?
We stay with your vehicle until it reaches a nominal charge level—enough for you to safely continue your drive. You’ll never be left guessing or rushed. We stay until the job is done.
5. What does it cost?
The service is a flat-rate of $125. No kWh upcharges, no per-minute billing, and no extra fees for nights, weekends, or holidays.
Just one price—always.
6. What EVs are supported?
We support all North American EVs equipped with either a J1772 or NACS (Tesla) charging port. Our system includes a Tesla Wall Connector and adapters to charge nearly every EV on the road today. If you're unsure, just tell us your make and model—we’ll handle the rest.
7. What areas do you serve?
We proudly serve all of Southwest Ohio (Greater Cincinnati), Northern Kentucky, and the Miami Valley region, with plans to expand coverage as demand grows.
