Onward provides mobile EV rescue charging and electric vehicle roadside assistance throughout Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky. When an EV battery is depleted or reaches 0%, we bring Level 2 charging directly to the vehicle, providing enough emergency range to help the driver reach home or the nearest charging station—not a complete battery charge. Most vehicles receive approximately 10–15 miles of range in 15–20 minutes or 20–25+ miles in 30–45 minutes, although charging speed and range vary by vehicle, battery condition, and environmental factors.
Our EV roadside services also include vehicle lockouts and emergency tire assistance, including repair or replacement coordination for EVs without spare tires. Is mobile EV rescue charging intended to fully charge my vehicle?
No. This is an emergency rescue service designed to restore enough driving range to reach home or a nearby charging station. It is not intended to provide a complete battery charge or replace routine charging.
What if my EV won’t start because of its 12-volt battery?
A weak or failed 12-volt battery can leave an EV completely unresponsive—even when the main battery still has plenty of charge—and may prevent the vehicle from unlocking, starting, shifting, or accepting a charge.
Onward can test the 12-volt battery, provide a controlled jump start when appropriate, and replace failed 12-volt batteries for many electric vehicles.
